Poshmark vs Depop Fees
Two of the biggest fashion-reselling apps — but very different fee models. Enter your price to see the real take-home on each side by side.
Poshmark
Depop
Poshmark's fee applies to the item price only. Depop's processing fee applies to the full transaction (price + buyer-paid shipping). Optional Depop Boost (up to 12%) is not included here.

It's not only about fees
Poshmark brings strong built-in social/party discovery and a buyer base that expects bundled shipping, but its 20% cut is steep and haggling is common.
Depop is far cheaper and skews younger and trend-led, which is ideal for vintage and streetwear, but you do more of the marketing and photography yourself and may pay to Boost listings for visibility.
Many sellers cross-list on both. Use the calculator to price each listing so you hit your target margin after the platform's specific fees.
Frequently asked questions
Which is cheaper, Poshmark or Depop?
Depop is almost always cheaper — no commission, just a small payment-processing fee. On a $50 US sale, Poshmark takes $10 (20%) while Depop takes roughly $2.10.
When can Poshmark be the cheaper option?
On very low-priced items under $15. Poshmark's flat $2.95 can edge out Depop's percentage-plus-fixed fee on the cheapest listings, so run the numbers rather than assuming.
Did Depop bring back its 10% fee?
No — the commission was removed in July 2024 and has not returned. The only standard cost is payment processing; Boost is entirely optional.
